WMD has extensive experience with a multitude of
drilling applications, including: roadway and bridge
drilling, geotechnical drilling for construction
activities, landfill drilling, environmental drilling
and mining exploration. WMD is experienced with
many drilling techniques, including: hollow-stem auger
drilling, mud rotary drilling, air rotary drilling and
rock coring. WMD has experience in installing
many types and sizes of of monitoring wells and
remediation wells, i.e. purge, sparge, vapor
extraction. In addition, WMD is experienced in
direct-push techniques using a Geoprobe sampling rig.
West Michigan Drilling currently owns and operates a
CME-75 truck mount drill rig, two CME-550X all-terrain
drill rigs, and a Geoprobe sampling rig. Our
540U Geoprobe allows for the placement of 1" wells and
the installation of of intrinsic bioremediation
slurries such as: ORC®
(Oxygen Release Compound) and HRC®
(Hydrogen Release Compound). Although our name
is West Michigan Drilling, our service area is
extensive and includes most of the Midwestern United
States.
